Good Set, but could be better...

This keyboard is comfortable to use and has a number of useful shortcut keys including some customisable keys which can be used to launch apps or webpages. I particularly find that I like having the shortcut key to the calculator which comes on a number of microsoft keyboards as well as volume and a/v controls (play/pause, skip etc). There are few downsides to this product in my opinion - - The receiver is a large USB stick instead of a one of the small micro or nano receivers and this is a big draw back for me if you are using with a laptop. - The mouse is a full large size mouse, which nowadays I find a bit uncomfortable as most people use slimmer smaller mice these days, personally, I would have preferred a smaller mouse that is not as bulky to carry or hold. - Lastly, I haven't found that their "BlueTrack" technology has been any better than their standard optical tracking and in fact, in one situation I found it gave me problems where the standard cheaper set did not.

Not worth the price

I had the Logitech MK345 before and wanted to try upgrade something else. Bought this 3050 pair after finding a good deal but had to return after just 2 weeks. 7/10 times I pressed "0" and "Enter", it did not work. This significantly slowed down my work and the mouse is way too bulky and heavy. In conclusion, if you are choosing between this and Logitech MK345, get the Logitech one. The only good thing about this 3050 was that it is quieter than MK345 but that is about it.

It was okay

It was okay features are good tho nothing special other than dedicated keys and buttons. It was also so comfortable keyboard and the mouse. Everything was fine till I lost the usb receiver, so if you're someone like me who lost small things very easy I don't think this is a good buy. Rather spend it on a logitech mouse + kb since you could replace the receiver unlike microsoft. But if you won't be plugging and unplugging the receiver I don't think youll have the same issue as I had.

I love it!!!

I bought this today and it is so easy and comfortable to use. A pleasure to type. I love the handy shortcut keys. Very ergonomic, love the built-in hand rest. Mouse is very smooth. A great affordable combo. Good value for money.

Too slow to respond

I don't use the mouse at all as it needs to be pressed firmly and uses 2 AAA batteries, unlike the mouse I prefer which is softer and only uses 1 AA battery. The keyboard is very slow to respond and I often don't know if it's because the batteries are going flat. There is no off switch and no light to let you know if the batteries are failing. Drives me mad.

Solid, well designed

There was a significant number of keyboards to choose from and hard to determine the feel and look of the product without touching it. However chose the microsoft keyboard because it looked well built and should be a good product from a reputable supplier I thought. Well, it was excellent and very comfortable to use and with a clear crisp feel to it. Actually an excellent product, highly recommended.

Good all round keyboard

Wireless is a great plus. It does loose connection when the battery runs low but I can usually get about 2-3 months out of a set of batteries with 8 hour a day use. Mouse is comfortable and has customiseable buttons. They keys are flat, like a laptop which personally is the best to type with. I even use this keyboard for gaming without any issues.

Great and smooth keyboard!

Great keyboard. Nice type feel. Mouse is fine as well. Only minor drawback: the Bluetooth adapter is rather big. As big as an USB stick. Not too handy in a laptop bag. Other than that. Great!

Very average

The USB has to be very close to even work at all. I don't use the mouse as it is too inconsistent in it's response. Keyboard ok but again sometimes takes a while to respond
