Been a Surface Tablet user for several years however device at end of life and looking for an alternative that provided larger screen, longer battery life and still keeping it light. Researched quite a bit before purchasing and had been looking at Windows Pro devices with Intel CPUs. Happy to say - not disappointed whatsoever. The laptop has fast start up, long battery life, able to close the lid and not open for 24-48 hours and still have similar battery life from when last left. Well worth the investment.

I chose this Laptop after using someone else's and really liking the features! I use it for personal use. All the things I'd expect from a laptop with the added bonus of touchscreen which has been great for more creative projects. I purchased this after using my sons and really liking it! Good speed and ease of use, an all round great machine. It really is a laptop, not a tablet. So you can't move the keyboard out of the way (or detach it) to use as a sketch pad or anything, but you can work around that if you have the odd project you want to do on it. I've had the Surface Laptop 4 since mid-2021 and since have done probably more than 50 hours of solid typing. Mousepad and Keyboards: The keyboard is great for extended hours of typing in my opinion. The mousepad is smooth and the click satisfying and so much better than other laptops. Battery and SSD: The battery lasts fairly long (I charge it once or twice a week) however I don't do anything heavy. I mostly use the laptop to watch videos and to do school work. i love it but sadly it doesnt have a HDMI port and it was purchased for travel and to display powerpoint on large screens. Also the battery is inbuilt and cannot be removed to preserve it for longer life. But the laptop is compact, love the fact its touchscreen also so when reading i dont have to click click arrow or miss part of the reading because gone to far etc...Its quite fast, versatile and easy to use. The sound quality is great and the volume i'm pleased to report goes quite high. Large memory capacity, beautiful colours and visual display, compact, light...what more can i say

After a long wait, going through many reviews and being my usual indecisive self, I bit the bullet and ordered the new Surface Laptop 4. I have been using the new Surface Laptop 4 for over 2 weeks now. First impressions: looks great, light, portable, simple, love the keyboard and feel of typing. It has been great for improving productivity and love the fact that it has both USB-A & C. Nothing majorly concerning but one downfall is the video quality. It could be better, but you do get use to it. Overall, no regrets were made and love my new laptop!

Unexpected great microsoft surface product since I was so disappointed from the first generation and missed a few generations. Surface laptop 4 is the perfect laptop for me in 2021. Beautiful made, long battery life, great typing keyboard and extraodinary sensative trackpad. I supposed to buy a macbook for its beautiful look and light weight, but I just fall in love with surface laptop 4 especially it's just a 'macbook' with the best operation system - windows! I bought the beautiful arc mouse as well, very beautiful product too! Love them for work! The most productive tools for 2021!

Needed the machine in a hurry and couldn't go past the price for the Black Friday sales. With my other machine being a Surface Book 3 i7, 32GB RAM, 512GB, the Microsoft units always feels to be a little underpowered even in their highest spec mode. But they do the job. The keyboards are great, not as great as the Macbook's or Lenovo but definitely useable and offer a great tactile touch. The screen size much more useable than the surface pro and the form factor much "flatter" than the Surface Book hinge. The power button on the keyboard is much better than on the edge like the Surface Book and Surface Pro. Stops the accidental "Hot Bag" syndrome caused by the unit accidentally turning on from an accidental bump in your bag. It does the job well.
