An impressively quick, ultraportable laptop, but the Surface Laptop 4 can’t quite match the M1 MacBook Air
Hugely likeable design, Choice of AMD and Intel CPUs, Great touchscreen
Graphics performance below par, Middling battery life, Cheaper models are Alcantara only
Great Light weight Laptop with real Intel Processor shares Power supply and dock with Other surface products and has touch / pen touch screen - does everything i wanted and more
Really worth the investment for someone looking for a light, portable laptop. Heaps of battery life when you're on the go. Small enough to bring out without taking up much space - I use mine on the bus. The keyboard is easy to use and I really like the soft-feel design of the base beside the mousepad. I don't use the touch screen much, but good option to have. Sign-in with facial recognition is great and quality of camera and microphone good for business meetings on zoom. Processing speed good too, loads things quickly. Turns on/ off quickly. Highly recommend.
It is pretty quick and not full of bloatware with a good screen. What it does not have going for it is the fact that there's not enough IO ports or the ones you need with only one USB A and C, rendering the use of dongles necessary. Given the size there are others that have more that charge less (equivalent specs from other manufacturers can be had about $500 cheaper).
