Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse Review

The best portable mouse should be as small as it is functional, and Microsoft's Sculpt Mobile Mouse($17.25 at Amazon) is both. It doesn't have any particularly exciting features like our Editors' Choice, the Microsoft Touch Mouse, though it's cheaper by comparison. Its singular programmable button adds much-needed functionality, and its solid tracking and ambidextrous design make it perfect for use on the go. Design The Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse is pretty small, smaller than the Logitech M515 Couch Mouse. It measures 3.8 by 2.2 by 1.6 inches (HWD), and is a lightweight 3 ounces. Its ambidextrous design is strikingly similar to the Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse, and its rounded back and palmrest are extremely comfortable. The top portion of the Sculpt Mobile is a glossy black plastic from front to back (There are also blue, pink, and red variants available.) The glossy surface makes the mouse prone to fingerprints. The two sides are gray with a hard rubbery texture. The ends c...

The Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse is great for basic use, and feels great, but the dearth of Web browsing customization options is disappointing.

Tiny, portable design; Different colors available; Ambidextrous support; Customizable button

Windows button is hard to reach; Limited click wheel button functionality for Web browsing

Not A True Bluetooth Mouse

Not worth trouble to return. Will give away to someone else. I'll keep searching somewhere else.

Mouse works with supplied transceiver

Mouse is not a bluetooth mouse as advertised; You must use supplied USB transceiver for mouse to communicate; I need a true bluetooth device for use with tablet computer without a protrusion sticking out from side of tablet

Flashy mouse

When it comes to purchasing a wireless mouse, I always go with Microsoft. They have never let me down and have an average lifespan for me of about 2 years.

Excellent Laptop Mouse

The Microsoft? Wireless Sculpt Mobile Mouse has been great for me. I've had it for 18 months and it's used daily for the laptop in our kitchen. (To the opposite extreme, I've had three of the Logitech? M325 Wireless Mouse units and all three of them have died within 9 months of normal-to-light use.

Sculpt Mobile

I purchased this mouse to replace an existing Microsoft USB that I slid over to my desktop which had a non "Microsoft" USB mouse and would no longer recognize it after upgrading it to Windows 10. THE NERVE! LOL! This mouse works just as well as the other Microsoft mouse I replaced.

Good mouse, bad development

The mouse itself is ok. It works fine. The only problem with it is the lack of support for the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel button is designed to tilt right and left and use that for different functions.

Excellent travel mouse

I bought this mouse to go with my small 11.6" Windows 8.1 laptop that I use for travel. The small size and the fact that it works on almost any surface makes it a great travel mouse. And now that I have the windows button, I don't know how I got by without it.

"Sculpted to Perfection! - Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse"

Introduction So here we are again with another Microsoft product. Yes – it's another mouse, but not just any mouse. This is the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse, and when this came into the shop I just had to review it since I've already reviewed another Microsoft mouse recently, and they do seem to be...
