I bought this to replace my old full-sized MS Ergonomic keyboard. I don't regret the purchase, because it's so much more comfortable to be able to place the mouse closer to the home row.
Ergonomic layout; Spit space bar is nice; Separate numpad allows you to keep mouse closer to the keyboard, reducing shoulder/nerve strain
The function keys are horrible; there's no sugar-coating it
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG... why did I put off buying this. It's worth every cent. I was getting sore arms and wrists using my old traditional style keyboard and mouse. Being the cheapo that I am I constantly put off ordering this expensive setup but knew I wanted it.
Love this setup... Keys are quiet and responsive. It is replacing my MS natural ergonomic keyboard and it blows the old one away. The mouse is a little difficult to use at first and will take a little getting used to, but your wrist will thank you in the long run.
The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop keyboard and mouse are well-designed wireless peripherals with dedicated Windows controls. Here's our Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop review.
If you spend a lot of time typing, and often feel the effects of repetitive strain injury, then the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop really could be a huge benefit to you. While the keyboard might seem intimidating at first, after a while it feels completely natural – and if it saves you from...
Comfortable keyboard to use, however the batteries drain after about 2 weeks of use at a maximum - this is seems to be a common complaint with this keyboard elsewhere on the web, and sadly cannot recommend for this reason. Microsoft should consider a re-design here.
Great, snappy, keyboard! I like the mouse as well, but I wish it was a bit larger. Everything very responsive and compact, without sacrificing necessary size to function with comfort. Great that it doesn't take a lot of space, but still delivers a lot of value and functionality.
Keyboard is ergonomic and comfortable to use. Mouse is simple, but functional and comfortable. Battery covers are magnetic which is pretty slick. The Mouse also has a slot to store the USB transmitter.
Microsoft's redesigned its ergonomic desktop product with an eye to mobility. It won't suit everyone - but it's very comfortable indeed. Microsoft make great peripheral hardware, and have done so for many years now.
