Its a mouse The length of the cord supplied with this mouse is awful, making it almost totally useless. This is NOT made clear before purchase, it was so bad I gave this item away and bought a proper mouse. It was like a child's toy.

Good for Small Hands, Very Short Cord
This purchase was a replacement for a Microsoft Compact Mouse model 500 purchased a few years ago. The form factor is identical to the earlier model, but the cord is less than half the length (30"). I would buy again, but now I know to order a USB extension at the same time.
Pros:
- The form factor of the Microsoft Compact Mouse is excellent for users with smaller hands
Cons:
- The cord is extremely short: 30" (76.2cm)

Microsoft mini mouse - USB
Very speedy service -next day from ordering - the mouse obviously designed as a travelling product for use with laptops as it has a short cable it is none-the-less a good product

Cord Short
It is a good value for the money but the cord was short & it is small I thought it was the size of a regular mouse.

best mouse ever
I hope they never stop making this mouse because I love it so much...it is the perfect size for my hand. The only complaint I have is I have to buy it every year to year and a half because the little feet ware off. its the best mouse I have found for the size and price

Bought this for my kids.
This is a great compact mouse for the laptop. I bought this mouse to fit a child's hand. Both kids like this mouse and I like that fact that it is laser and not a roller ball. I would buy this again.
