Keyboard is good, mouse not so much

I really like using the keyboard, it feels good and it seems to connect well from my experience so far. I haven't yet tried to program it in any way, only had it a week. I was dubious about the mouse from the start, it doesn't look comfortable to hold, far too much emphasis on looking good. And I was right. But it also loses connection every time you don't touch it for a while, and takes around 2 seconds to wake up. This may be the computer, never used a bluetooth mouse before. Plus the buttons occasionally stick due to the way you hold it. The mouse will end up in a drawer soon I'm sure, but I think I'll keep the keyboard. Disappointing.

Terrible Quality

I wanted to really like this combo as a designer that uses a lot macs at work this has a familiar feeling, however the I soon ran into some major problems when using this product. The media keys soon stopped working after the windows 10 update and would freeze the keyboard making it unusable so there is some software/compatibility issues (I'm using an MS product on a MS Surface Pro 3 on Win10 ....oh the irony). As for the mouse it was fine until the cheap plastic bits on the mouse broke and my scroll wheel stopped working. For the price I'm paying its not worth the hassle.

Nothing

Nothing wrong with this keyboard, I have deployed over 200 of these in the business - putting this review cause of the negetive review from the Apple fanbois - these are cheaper then that of a "magic kb" with no numpad and it comes with a mouse, Apple only just released a keyboard with the full numpad. In the past you have to buy a mouse and numbad seperately. Dont get me started on a magic mouse. Designer mouse scroll will break if dropped enough times. Not ergonomical - it will strain your muscle on prolong use. Get the logitech MX Master mouse instead. Bluetooth issues are more due to the laptop bluetooth ( ie intel wifi/bt combi chipset), occasionaly will not remember - just re-pair keyboard. users will complain that it takes 10s to wake up when they are away from their desk. thats because OS putting bluetooth hardware to sleep. Override BT power saving mode in device management.

Terrible

One of the worst purchases I've ever made. It looks and feels amazing but that's about it. doesn't pair with my MacBook properly, drops out and is generally terrible. I've been a long time Microsoft keyboard and mouse user but will be looking at other options from now on.

Disappointed

I liked the look of this combo but both take ages to engage after short periods of inactivity with the mouse stopping working completely for periods. Expected so much more from this product.

A Constant Pain

I bought this a few days ago and I am going to return it because every time I turn my computer on I have to re-pair it with my computer in order for it to work, or when my computer goes idle i have to go through the whole process again. Its too much. I would rather just have a chord. No fuss.

Absolute rubbish

The keyboard loses connection almost every time you start a session. It's an unfixable hardware problem. Microsoft support says to re-pair with your PC Bluetooth - which when you can't enter your Windows password is irrelevant. I gave up on mine & took my Apple Magic Keyboard from my Android TV. I tried pairing the Microsoft Designer Keyboard with my Sony Android UHD TV on Android 9 - rejected. The marketing BS that tells us it'll connect to Android fails to specify max Android 5. Are there any of those left? So I now have a keyboard that loses connection to a Windows PC & won't connect to Android. MS Surface is a good product. MS Designer Keyboard is not from the same production unit. Another Microsoft hardware failure - at least it's not as ugly as the Kun. Just as useless though. Microsoft Designer Keyboard? More like Resigner. I resign from buying MS hardware ever again.

Brilliant for Surface Pro

I bought this item a month ago to have a semi portable desktop setup, and it’s perfect! Excellent quality and great feel. Near identical to the actual Surface Pro keyboard and mouse but much cheaper.

Disconnecting

The mouse and keyboard keep disconnecting. Super frustrating as midway through your sentence it's only picked up a word, or missed a whole bunch of strokes entirely.

Constantly stops working

Purchased this over a month ag and despite the ease of setup, the mouse stops working at least 5 times per day, probably more and the keyboard already has key sticking issues. The keys don't stick as such, but the connection tells your computer it is, so plenty of ssssssssssssssstuttering in your emails and documents.
