Impressive game

I've had this game for nearly a month and it is fantastic. Huge map with vast amounts of upgrade options for weapons and gadgets. Gameplay is immersive and all in all a great buy.

Poor Customer Service

I did not receive the day one edition or the steelbook case that were advertised. They have essentially overcharged for the item as I could have ordered the standard edition cheaper on their other listing.

Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain

The free world stack of games is awesome. This game is the best of the military styled. You are also responsible for hiring and firing of your special secret organisation. Loads of new gadgets and vehicles too. Only thing to be careful of is its a hard game.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

72 seconds. At first, it feels like a mistake. There's no reason why it takes so long to drive between Mother Base platforms. Or why a ...

Staggeringly deep open-world with huge variety of strategies and item upgrades; Impeccable production values and haunting audio; The most-accessible MGS game yet; Ingenious game-structure-as-metaphor; with philosophical depths; Attaching an upgraded fulton balloon to *anything

Intense pacing; from initially daunting to incredibly tough

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Review

[ Update: The multiplayer modes for Metal Gear Solid V are live, but as GR's Jonathan Leack explains in his two features, Metal Gear Online is a shaky experience right now and the FOB invasion and insurance services negatively impact the game both online and offline.

Open-world soldier's paradise; Rewards outside-the-cardboard-box thinking; Modern controls greatly enhance the Metal Gear experience; A lengthy adventure that never grows tiresome; Beautiful presentation across all platforms; Provides good closure to decades of Metal Gear

Consumer unfriendly micro-transactions; Tags

The Metal Gear haters guide to Metal Gear Solid V

From the prologue, to its one and only chapter transition, to the prologue again, and to the annoying against-all-odds stand-off that actually ends the game after the credits have already rolled twice, Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain is so very Kojima.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Review

In all honesty, by throwing out a lot of "the old way" of making a Metal Gear Solid game, Kojima productions have produced the best stealth game I've ever played and the high point of a series dotted with gems. Metal Gear Solid's swansong is a masterpiece.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is Hideo Kojima's Great White Whale, the game he's been trying to make his entire career, or at least since Peace Walker . Like the central character, nicknamed Ahab, or his bandaged roommate Ishmael, this modern-day epic takes some time to get to its feet and...

PS4/Xbox One Review: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the perfect send off for the series, even if it does leave me sad and wanting more. It ties things up in a way I wasn't expecting and serves as a farewell to both Snake and Big Boss himself, Hideo Kojima.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PlayStation 4) Second Opinion Review

With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain , thus ends an era of one of the oldest and longest running video game franchises that has a legacy enduring as far back as 1987 when it first launched on the MSX2 gaming computer.
