SINGLE PLAYER REVIEW I didn't expect much from this title, but a few good reports and a lower than usual price enticed me to try it. The single player mode is entertaining, allowing the player to play as three separate characters in the US army fighting in contemporary Afghanistan.

Previous to Medal of Honor's launch, producer Greg Goodrich said that his studio (Danger Close a.k.a EA Los Angeles) isn't looking to revolutionize the FPS genre with this new take on the once-popular franchise, but offer the best, most refined game possible.

It seems that the developers of " Medal of Honor " have created a game which cannot decide whether it has been made as a single player or multiplayer game and as a result the whole package suffers slightly.

Medal of Honor is a good game but I will warn the campaign is short. The story is compelling but very short. But if you can pick up this game on the cheap then go for it. I definitely found the game enjoyable and would recommend it.

the CD got loose in the box and so got a lot of scratches but it is working. And the box was also broken so dont know if the courier people screwed it up or who packaged it.

Forgetting about the shortness of this game which has become an inherent part of the 'cinematic gaming experience' that seems to haunt these types of games, such as COD, MOH is actually very, very good. The gameplay, storyline, visuals etc are comparible to COD and in some respects, a little better.
