I'll be honest, I've pretty much lost faith in the Medal Of Honor series. Started out as the favourite child, the WWII shooter prodigy, shining in the sun like a phosphorescent desert button amongst the chaff.

Medal of Honor (2010) Review

In Medal of Honor , brotherhood is an unspoken bond of trust and companionship through acts of honor where failing to leave a soldier behind isn't an option and risking one's life for the fate of another is common.

Strong storyline; Impressive in-game details; Weapons unlock based on class type; not rank; Challenging Tier 1 mode; …but has an interactive environment

The single-player campaign doesn't get cooking until the last two levels, but those two levels combined with solid multiplayer make it worth enlisting in the Airborne.

It seems you can't read a preview or review of a World War II-based FPS without hearing about how many games there are in the genre. With good reason, too--it's a crowded one. But just because there are a lot of them doesn't mean there can't be some good ones.

Lots of intense action; Strong online multiplayer; Levels aren't strictly linear

First half of game isn't very interesting; Weapons can be tough to aim thanks to excessive recoil; Lots of little flaws detract from the overall experience

PS3 Review - 'Medal of Honor Airborne'

Genre: First-Person Shooter Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: EA LA Release Date: September 4, 2007 The glut of World War II-themed shooters in the market over the past several years was at first a gamer's inside joke, like pretending Duke Nukem Forever will ever ship, eventually becoming a...

I Wanna Be An Airborne Ranger

For those of you who remember and keep track of such things, the Medal of Honor series really jumpstarted the popular WWII shooter genre, at least in recent years. Played a lot like the true original, Castle Wolfenstein, MOH is mostly one man going through a series of shooter missions against...

Medal of Honor: Airborne

I haven't afforded the Medal of Honor series more than a cursory glance since the abomination that was Rising Sun - eight or nine levels, a broken game and a 'To Be Continued...' ending No. Just, no.

Medal of Honor Airborne PS3

This is a good shooter. Made by EA back when shooters were not all glitz, glamour and online silliness. Airborne has a decent but limited arsenal for guns. Plays well. The missions start out really fun. However, near the end they add a bunch of super enemies that are not so much fun.

Medal of Honor Beta (Video Review)

Categories: Feature , PS3 Reviews One Response Craig Baker says: July 24, 2010 at 7:10 pm nice review. I was fortunate enough to get a bunch of beta codes and tried it on both systems and i can say the one on 360 plays out quite a bit better.
