Dumbed Down Combo System

I bought this a week ago, and begin to like it. It's fast paced, and has a decent amount of characters. The only problem is the dumbed down combo system. With automatic combos, someone who's never played before can beat someone with more time by simply smashing buttons.

Many people would be happy with any sort of revival of Marvel vs Capcom, considering how dead the franchise seemed after UMvC3 came and went. But playing and thinking about Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, one can't help but wonder about what it could have been.

Game Review: Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

The original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 released back in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so to say that this follow-up has been overdue, is an understatement. So finally in 2017, we finally have that new game in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite .

Fast; frantic and fun gameplay; Caters for both hardcore and newcomer fan base; For the most part; it's a beautiful looking game

Story modes pacing struggles to keep me interested; Facial animation could have been better; Online player base is dead already; Not enough male and female character variety in base game

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

There's no doubt that Marvel's film universe, MCU, has grown immensely in popularity over the last few years, which has lead to it becoming one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood. That's why we weren't exactly surprised when Capcom finally unveiled that they would team up for another Marvel vs.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite PC Review

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has an insanely dedicated fan base. Even when the game was denied any patches about a year after launch, which followed with the game being pulled from all the digital stores, along with its DLC at the end of 2013 – because Disney, who bought Marvel back in 2009, decided...

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Review

The opening moments of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite 's story mode are perhaps the worst opening of any videogame story around, and seemingly confirm the sort of fears and cynicism that's surrounded the game's promotional build up.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is the franchise's ugly duckling.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite – Deluxe Edition Review – Xbox One

While I don't normally consider myself a fighting game player I certainly can't pass up a chance to play anything that involves Megaman X, Zero and Dante just to name a few. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite has done a great job of giving us a fun and fast paced fighter using some of their most beloved...

Positives + Easy combat system + Very appealing stages

Negatives; Short story mode; Some characters didn't seem to fit

PS4 Review - 'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite'

Buy Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite The good news is that Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite actually plays very well, on- or offline. The bad news is, well, almost everything else. Infinite has had a rough road to release. Despite being janky and somewhat broken, Marvel vs.

Not up to previous MvC standards, but still fun

Not as fun nor interesting as the previous MvC games, but still entertaining. The story mode is mostly cliche and predictable. There is a decent arcade mode with adjustable difficulty levels along with a local vs and player vs comp modes. There is mission/ tutorial and practice modes too.
