Marshall Stockwell

At moderate volumes and on genres that lack deep bass, we love the Marshall Stockwell-but the distortion at higher volumes is a bummer. If you're searching for a speaker with the Stockwell's looks and EQ options-but no distortion-the more expensive Marshall Kilburn is one of our favorites.

Very loud; Crisp, rich audio performance that can be adjusted with Treble and Bass knobs; Built-in speakerphone

Distorts on deep bass track at high volumes

Fantastic amp looking design; great battery life; decent sound

Could use stronger bass

Marshall Stockwell Review: Portable and Loud But Not for Bassheads

Three months ago Marshall announced their most portable and affordable speaker offering to-date, the Marshall Stockwell . While it's not as small as the Bose Soundlink Mini II, Beats Pill, or the myriad of bar-type wireless speakers in the market (it measures 5.7 by 10.1 by 2 inches HWD and weighs...

Amazing Sound!

best of 6 speakers I'd auditioned. A finely crafted piece of art and conversation starter to boot. Just wish that it wouldn't shut down after 15 mins of disuse when plugged in.

Great Sound, Worth the Price.

Sounds great. My brother practices with Marshall equipment and when I saw this, I wanted it knowing that awesome sound Marshall makes. Not disappointed in it. My only complaint is that the charging cable is for household plug ins. I wish it had plug ins for car cigarette chargers as well.

Sounds awesome

Limited charging options; Household plug ins only

Marshall Stockwell

Last year, Marshall crashed onto the portable audio scene with the Monitor , a surprisingly good set of on-ear headphones for a company whose legacy is nested in making guitar amplifiers. Now, it's back with the Stockwell, a Bluetooth speaker.

Iconic design; 25-hour battery life; Customizable sound profile; It has knobs

Lacks necessary features; Case is all but required; but not included; Not enough bass; Poor value

Nice bit of kit.!! If you're into heavy music then this is what you need. I've played kyuss to slayer to sabbath.. the good thing is, you got treble and bass to mess around with.. compared with Bose minisoundlink 2 , which is an awesome all rounder, but, the Stockwell is just that little bit more.

Love this little speaker. Battery life is great. Sound is better than expected from this size. Everyone should have one!!

Not that portabe

Just keep in mind that while it sounds great, you cant use a USB cord to charge it, or plug it in to a 12v cig outlet. You'll need to carry a round the 15v wall charger with you. So not that great to travel with.

Fantastic portable speaker

"I have been really impressed with this speaker so far. The battery life has been excellent, the bluetooth hooks up seemlessly with my phone and amazon echo and the sounds quality is amazing. It's so good that you can adjust the bass and treble yourself and unusual as it's such a small unit.

Good build quality; Value for money; Looks good; None
