The perfect lightweight Tripod

I wanted a backup tripod that wouldn't weigh me down on long hot hikes at the beach in Florida. Works great with my Sony A6300, swivel is smooth for taking videos. This tripod is amazingly sturdy and well built, Manfrotto tripods rock!

At age 80 a little extra support goes a long way. Just not as steady as I was at 70. Does improve usefulness if an inexpensive ball-head is added. Only negative experience was being refused entrance to the National Air and Space Museum out by Dulles International by overzealous, on site guard.

A very good useful product and versatile

I purchased this product as an addition to a tripod of the same manufacture that I use. It is very compact light in weight and very east to use. Its ovoid construction makes it very rigid and steady even when used with my camera and a large lens.

I would recommend this product

I used this product at a night time event when I felt I needed a firm stance rather than hand held. I found it extremely easy to use and easy to adjust the height

Compact; Lightweight

MANFROTTO Compact Advanced Tripod

Good range of heights, easy to set up and feels sturdy; Really, for the money, it was a very good purchase

Fairly heavy and lacks a spirit level; Found the handles to be a little short to get really smooth motion while tracking a subject

Fantastic Value

Bought this tripod to take to Iceland to photograph the northern lights. We were lucky enough to see them. The tripod was light and portable, easy to assemble and fix the camera. Could adjust it with no problem and was sturdy enough for the 30 second exposure time needed for the photos.
