Slender: The Arrival

A no-frills port of an already underweight horror package. There's much other developers can learn from Slender's terror tactics, but we suspect they've got the message by now. Give the tall lad a miss.

Repetitive but enjoyable

The missions in this game tend to be very repetitive but I've enjoyed it enough to keep playing it for what must be close to 16 hours.

Mafia III [Xbox One] review: a game of contrasts

Picture this: your friends and family have been murdered, you're left for dead and your ties to the Mafia have all but betrayed you. What are you gonna do Kill everyone for revenge, of course. Okay, so that's a basic rundown of the latest open-world crime simulator, Mafia III .

The Mafia series has a rich heritage to live up to. The series never stood out as a AAA game when compared to the classic greats of our time, but it's received a cult following that adores everything about the mob underworld.

The music puts you right into 1968 | Story is actually quite interesting | Shooting and stealth mechanics work well..

...but the world is so boring | Missions are so repetitive | Graphical glitches all over the show

Mafia 3 Review

Mafia 3's strong characters and confident storytelling kept me engaged, even if the gameplay rarely delivered anything but bog-standard and repetitive open-world action. That's a bummer, because Lincoln is an incredible protagonist and New Bordeaux is a fantastic setting thematically, and it...

Xbox One Review: Mafia III

Mafia III has been a long time coming, it's predecessor came out all the way back in August 2010…so we've gone nearly 6 years without being part of another crime family. Has the wait been worth it?

Fine for kids 12+

I personally think it is fine for children 12+ the blood is like out of a movie. The language is infrequent as well. For all those parents worried the game is not good don' t listen to the ones that are against the game it's just a dare they had to do .

Big Disappointment From A Great Series

I was a big fan of the Mafia series. Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 are some of my favorite video games ever. Yet, Mafia 3 falls face flat. Firstly the story line of Mafia 3 was a bit disappointing to me. Secondly, game play gets repetitive. Last but not least, the controls take away from the fun.

"FUN"

Mafia 3 is fun but can get a little boring. Couldn't play it all at once. But overall good game!
