Madden NFL 25 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is a tremendous game of virtual football. The gameplay was sharper than ever, the presentation was fresher than ever, and the 25th anniversary touches made it a wonderful ode to the series.

Since the days of NFL licensed electric football, people have been trying to replicate the pro game in their living rooms for ages. Back then people had to use their imagination quite a bit, but thankfully for today's generation we can plop down on the couch and fire up our favorite video game...

The next generation has arrived and with it a brand new sports engine for EA, which it hopes will "Ignite" another run of sales dominance. Foremost among the new releases for PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One this launch season (in North America at least), is the new Madden 25.

Madden NFL 25 for the PlayStation 4 is the definitive version of Madden this year by far, so, if you are a football fan, it is a must have for the PS4. The improved graphics, gameplay, physics, and atmosphere make it one of the best Madden titles to date.

Overhauled graphics and environments make this a worthy next gen football title; The atmosphere of football has finally been captured; even the crowd seems as real as ever; No lost modes like in previous next gen Madden titles; every mode on the PS3 version is on the PS4 version

Commentary still needs to be improved upon; Would have been nice for an upgrade option for those that purchased the PlayStation 3 version of the title

While I'm not the most dedicated football game fan in the world, I've spent my fair share of time with various games. I always had a fondness for the Joe Montana Football series on the Genesis and Sega CD, and I've played with NFL 2K1 , All Pro Football 2K8 and Blitz: The League over the years.

All the features from the previous versions of Madden 25 make it into the next-gen, but the upgrades you get with this version aren't that significant.

Madden and I have never been friends. I don't hate the game, football just isn't my sport and the sport I do watch, I don't play the video game for. I've been exposed to football and Madden because of friends and family. My best friend and was an avid Madden player and Washington Redskins fan.

The game is very realistic and the graphics are amazing compared to the Xbox One. Love that the PS4 Madden 25 is 1080 apposed to Xbox One 720.

Glitches With Video Lag

+ Much better than Xbox version as far as performance (framerate and judders etc.) + Good entry, MUT feature is super fun/addictive - Not much other revolutionary components of the game and/or gameplay

In my opinion I believe there are a couple of flaws with the Madden. I have noticed that I had some horrible calls, even after a review of the play and clearly the call should have been over-turned.
