It is such a shame to see the Madden NFL franchise sink into failing review score status. What is EA Sports doing They are sabotaging themselves with Madden NFL 18. Their PR and Marketing failures has already been documented. The decline of the NFL has also already been documented.

Got the box wrapped and on time. The disk they gave me is bad. It will stop downloading at 12% and say "download has stopped". I've tried to resume download, restart xbox1, and I also installed another game I bought today with no issues. I now see why the game was much cheaper than all the others.

I have been playing Madden since it started many years ago. They keep improving it every year.

The shift to the Frostbite Engine definitely lets look fantastic, and Longshot makes great use of that to tell a short but powerful against-all-odds story. MUT Squads also opens up a new way to play with more than two players.

Stories in sports games. We've been talking about the idea for over a decade and it's just in the last couple of years we've seen the two big sports developers (EA & 2K) start investing in it.

Frostbite has improved visuals greatly, Longshot is excellent, Noticeable changes to gameplay i.e; passing, AI is much smarter

Players fall awkwardly; Movement on the ground is odd

Do not waste your money. It has become microtransaction infested and the purchase price does not reflect the pay to play model the game possesss. Story mode is two days worth of game play and lacks any depth

We just got the 17 version not too long ago and my son can't stop playing it. Glad 18 is available for pre-sell. He'll be excited to know this is coming!!

Huge improvement over 17. Very fluid, graphics are much better and easy to jump in even for noobs like me. Highly recommend.
