This game is incredible. It takes a lot of different elements that open world games do not normally use (like the need to find water or fuel for cars) and makes something great out of it.
High excitement. Great graphics. My son says it's like being IN the movie. It is his favorite game so far.
Video games are often colorful, loud, busy, and full of things meant to grab a person's attention, but one thing most video games aren't is subtle. And if one is, God help it in a marketplace already brimming with competition and getting thicker all the time.
The sandstorms are absolutely jaw-dropping
The bosses need more variety
Mad Max is a great entry from Avalanche, a fun game with very meaty car combat and a wealth of customisation
begins and ends the exact same way: with the eponymous hero behind the wheel of a car, alone, speeding toward some elusive destination. It's the essence of the character, a man who tells himself he neither needs nor wants the responsibility of looking after other souls.
Mad Max does a whole lot of things right. The vehicular combat will easily satisfy a ton of people, with its bombastic action hitting all the right notes from the movies. The world, its characters, and the overall atmosphere are all spot on, presenting a true Mad Max experience from top to bottom.
Overall, Mad Max was a great game experience. I don't see the game lasting a casual player more than a couple of weeks, but if you're hardcore and going for 100 percent completion, expect things to take you a decent length of time; not to mention the numerous customization options for the Magnum...
