Msi 1070 armor oc edition

Im using a 24" asus 144hz monitor. High end 3d monitor and the 6600k. Takes everything the video card has to play bf4 and ark full out. Plays crysis 3 at about 60fps full out overclocked.

Card has brute strength in high end gaming; Has dual fans to keep it cool better than the traditional 1070

Gets a bit warm

Definitely recommend it

I love the Armor series! I had a 1060 6GB and the overclock headroom is plenty! I just stopped that and went to a 1070. The 1070 is a major step up from the 1060 for sure, but I only did this cos I'm FPS hungry. The 1060 can do ultra with ease in 1080p, but I want 1440p ultra!

Excellent OCing 1070 for an Excellent Price!

Overall a great card at a great price from a very reputable manufacturer which created the most popular GTX 970 design and carried this over to the 1070 Armor and 1070 Gaming. I think the Armor is an excellent choice for anyone looking to water cool a GTX 1070 as you get an upgraded power delivery...

Stock cooler allowed an OC of 2.1 GHz on the core and 9.1 GHz on the GDDR5! (Max temp: 71C) - Excellent Power Delivery Upgrade (8+1 w/ SFC chokes) from Founder's Edition (4+1) for the same cost! - Extremely silent cooling solution at stock clock speeds and moderately silent at OC listed above.

- Armor heat sink across the card doesn't cool as many components as the Gaming X design does (power delivery in particular) - Gaming X has slightly more OC headroom (slightly being the keyword) due to 2 additional power phases along with a slightly better cooler; - 1x 8 pin for power delivery vs.

does what it sais on the box

Runs a cool 65 deg C no oc playing witcher three on ultra on a 1440p monitor. Crank it up another 200 core clock speed and runs nicely at 82. My bottleneck was the cpu so oc that from 3.5 to 3.9 and everything super lag and tear free. Very pleased simple installation.

Perfect so far.

Quiet and runs cool (65c max @ 70% fan). Sleek looking back, although no back-plate. No LEDS.

I really like that the card is near silent even when running at 100% usage. The fan speed in game is usually around 55% or 1250 RPM at most. At 1080p, the card can run most shooters (Battlefield 4, Overwatch, Doom, and Call of Duty Black Ops 3) at around 150 fps or higher (max settings).

Quiet; Good performance; Runs cool

No backplate

Wonderful budget card.

I am extremely impressed. I think it is a little overkill for my 1080p setup but at least i can now easily downsample and get rid of those nasty edges. I'm loving this card so far.

Price is too high.. but

But still an awesome card.. i get 60+ fps on all games. So if you get it at a less price go for it.

Great Mining Card

I bought 2 to play with GPU crypto mining. The GTX 1070 is the best for efficiency that I've found. They have stayed cool running 24/7 even with the hot days we've had. The only small gripe I have is this version of the card uses Micron memory instead of Samsung so memory overclocking isn't as good.
