Thin is in: MSI GF75 Thin 9SC Laptop Review

It's tough to recommend a gaming laptop with the Core i7-9750H when the performance benefits over a Core i7-8750H are almost negligible. It's too bad that MSI doesn't offer the GF75 with the Core i7-8750H and GTX 1650 instead because gaming performance would have been essentially the same but for a...

quieter than most gaming laptops when gaming; 2x storage bays; 2x SODIMM slots; lightweight for a 17.3-inch laptop; full-size Arrow keys; integrated NumPad; narrow bezels

Classic MSI laptop

As with anything, hard to say until 2 years down the road... but I've never been wronged by MSI.

Speed; weight; appearance; everything runs as it should and you get what you pay for in terms of the specs

Speakers are absolutely garbage compared to my old laptop (GE70); which I had purchased in 2014

The keyboard creates a rather comfortable typing experience with only minimal clatter. In addition, the matte black ClickPad gives a good feeling and offers satisfactory gliding properties. However, it should be noted that there is no free space allocated above or below the ClickPad, as the keyboard has been positioned further down than usual. In terms of its display, the GF75 Thin 9SC comes with a 17.3-inch screen, offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This laptop utilizes the same AU Optronics B173HAN04.2 IPS panel as the older GF75 8RD. The MSI GF75 Thin 9SC has been equipped with an Intel Core i7-9750H, which provides CPU performance that is only marginally better than that of the Core i7-8750H found in the GF75 8RD. While the processor does place ...
