EA Sports MMA is a genuine contender for the title of best Mixed Martial Arts fighting game of the year, writes Jon Denton.
This is a game for both casual gamers and hardcore mma fans. The learning curve is a bit steep, but you will learn the buttons soon enough. I also highly suggest you change the controls to the button option. This way you can attack and defend more easily.
The characters move beautifully and real - life like .

it's a good game but only for real loving about this kind of game...not many easy and very hard to play, the hands and the fingers to the end game are very suffering......
Probably slightly better than UFC 2010. Career mode is a grind I couldn't deal with though. Also not enjoying EA's Game Pass feature. The game does allow a 7 day trial of online content albeit with repeating requests to buy a Game Pass.
This is an EA run of the mill game - Arcadey - too easy - and very forgetful. The career mode was laughable - you still gain XP even when you fail a lesson - So it is just a matter of time before you 100% in every area - Too Easy...
** This review is also on ciao.co.uk by Honest-Dan** Being a huge MMA fan and having previously played the UFC titles I didn't really expect much of this game, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the gameplay is and honestly prefer it over the more common UFC titles.
Ready to get your mixed-martial arts action on? Ok, then reach for UFC Undi...wait. Stop. THQ's UFC franchise is not the only game in town anymore. EA Sports have finally thrown their hat into the ring, so to speak, with the recent release of EA MMA. I know what you're thinking though.

Let's not beat about the bush - if you're reading this review, there's only one thing you want to know: is EA Sports MMA better than UFC Undisputed 2010? The answer is not a totally cut-and-dried one, and it's far more involved than a simple yes or no.
