Logitech Z323 review: This 2.1 speaker system's boomy bass overwhelms room-filling sound
The Logitech Z323 is a powerful speaker system but the effort required to balance the boomy bass makes it tough to recommend.- Crips high and mid frequencies
- Stylish design
- Boomy
- indistinct bass tends to overwhelm the mix
- Needed to readjust the bass balance for each track played
Good build quality with 2 yr warranty
Have been using these speakers from over a month now.. Sounds pretty loud to fill the room. Woofer doesn't crack even at high volumes. As far as the quality of sound is considered, I'm not very impressed with it. Sound is on the heavier side due to lack of tweeters.
Add boom to your room with Logitech Z323 speakers
And to be frank they only sound decent. Not great. Too much sibilance, woofer too boomy (or in most cases, woomy). There's no real mid-range. This, unfortunately, is the sacrifice made on the alter of "rich bass" – every possibly trick to give more bass extension is used, at the...- The flexibility in connection - both minijack and RCA inputs is a nice touch Sound quality is pretty good for basic powered speakers Looks pretty high tech
- Sound quality pretty good
- not great.
Cheap with "tin can" sound, woofer burns out.
You'll find that this is the same basic set up as the x240 series.Sold a couple of years ago and the Woofer just starts to hum louder and louder, destroying the sound. Just give it a year or so. Materials used are basic plastic.- "Great" is for a product that lasts.
- Power supply humming
- takes away from enjoyment.
Great for anything that needs sound
I just ordered a second set of these speakers. I've used them (mainly) for gaming and listening to music and they sound wonderful especially if you have the ability to use an EQ. The bass gets real low and punchy without breaking up, and the treble is nice and warm.- -Warm treble
- Smooth bass
- Can get loud
- *These cons are very specific to my setup* -Cords aren't quite long enough to reach all the way around my fairly large corner desk -Doesn't come with an audio cable to link more speakers (though I suppose that probably wouldn't be of use for many
Logitech Z323 speaker system
Logitech's Z323 speakers project adequate sound at low levels, but if you turn up the volume, the audio has an unacceptable lack of clarity and severely distorted bass. We recommend that you stay away from these speakers and spend an extra $10 on the Logitech Z523, one of the best...- Generous two-year warranty
- RCA inputs lets you connect external audio sources
- Subwoofer is prone to distortion, even at half power
- 3.5mm audio cable not included
- unprotected drivers
Great speakers with awesome clarity and fantastic bass.
I bought these and got them for 50 pounds which was a bargain. For that price they are fantastic looking and deliver great sound quality. An excess of bass and clear trebles.- Has more bass than I could ever need
- Can go way louder than I need
- Clear sound
- Nothing
not as good as expected
i recently purchased the logitech z313 system for my laptop and it sounds great for the low cost. i decided to purhase a z323 set for my netbook and it doesn't sound near as good as the cheaper model. all in all if i were going to do it again i would only buy the cheaper z313 set.- Easy Setup
- Poor Sound Quality
- Weak Bass
Not impressed
Very disappointed in the sound. It was muffled. I am sure it would be fine to play games on but I wanted them to listen to music and they are not up to the task. Returning them tomorrow.
Unable to use
Is it usual for a uk order to be supplied a product with a foreign plug.... Ie a 2 pin plug? Have I been sent the correct product?
