Pros:
- Above average design
- Omnidirectional speaker system
- Can sound surprisingly good with the aid of an app.
Cons:
- Mediocre sound out of the box
- No rechargeable battery

Disappointing
We were hoping this model would not have the same "congenital" defect as other Logitech models, but it does. I was playing my iPod 2nd generation, and the player stopped in the middle of a song. No reason.

Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus
In an overstuffed iPod dock/alarm clock market, Logitech isn't short of options. The bare-bones Pure-Fi Express Plus sounds okay, but it lacks some commonplace features like an AM/FM tuner and the ability to wake you to your iPod tunes.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Decent sound for the price
- Intuitive controls
Cons:
- Distortion at high volumes
- No AM/FM tuner
- Remote offers limited iPod navigation, no alarm controls
- Alarm can't use iPod's music to wake you

Review: Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus
When I was going away to college in 2003, I purchased a pair of $20 speakers from Radio Shack. I knew I needed to buy something because I like to do everything with music on - clean, homework, shower, etc. I didn't test it out in the store but the representative guaranteed they would be good.

in Apple accessories: just ask Built, Crumpler, iHome, Griffin, JBL or any of the other companies that make the myriad cases, docks, cables and other accessories Apple doesn't include in the box.
