Logitech K480 Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard

Good technology companies address problems we didn't know we had. With the $49.99 K480 Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard, Logitech made picking up your mobile devices while you work on your computer seem like a problem, and it fixes it quite well. Okay, that's not really a pressing issue.

Connects with most major platforms; Switches between multiple devices extremely well; Comfortable keyboard; Inexpensive

Not compatible with Windows Phone OS; Not compact or light enough to be used as a portable tablet keyboard; Doesn't have all the usual keys you find on a full-size keyboard

Review: Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480

My daily routine when arriving at the office entails taking a smartphone out of my pocket, unpacking an iPad, and turning on my MacBook Air. All of these devices are placed on my desk in a forever-changing arrangement.

Connects to multiple operating systems: iOS, Android, Mac OS X and Windows; Switch between devices with the twist of a knob; Minimal setup effort; Long battery life; Spacious layout

Cheap build quality; Loud and annoying clack-clack-clack sounds while typing; Not all that mobile-leave it at your desk; Takes AAAs, no built-in rechargeable battery like Logitech's other mobile-friendly keyboards

Although we were disappointed that Logitech didn't include key backlighting or flip-up feet, these omissions are forgivable given the keyboard's affordable price. At $49.99, the K480 is less expensive than many keyboard cases alone, and it can serve multiple OS masters.

Compatible with Windows; Android; iOS; and OS X; Comfortable typing experience; Simple to set up; Switches between devices seamlessly

No backlighting; No feet to raise typing angle; A bit too large to be truly portable

Logitech K480 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard Review: A Low-Cost Workhorse That Gets The Job Done

It's basically my job to type, so I type a lot. There's quite a bit more to it than that, of course, but typing is kind of the cornerstone of being a writer of any kind. Because of the amount of typing I do, a good keyboard is important.

Defect on 1st day

Keyboard Box was slightly crushed a little when arrived! Looks like returned or maybe refurbished since it's double tape! Skeptical to open but need the keyboard to work, so went ahead to use it. For only 10 mins, some keys start malfunction! k & back space weren't working..

Logitech K480 Keyboard Is a Multi-Device Wonder

The keyboard does take a bit of adjustment. The thickness of the accessory means the top of the keys is higher than pretty much any other keyboard I have used. Also, the round, island keys have a lot of play and make a good bit of sound when struck.

Works with three devices at once; Simple to switch between devices; works with a range of different platforms; Great battery life

Keyboard took a bit of adjustment when moving from Apple's offering; Takes AAA batteries and is not rechargeable
