Last year, Logitech's Harmony Touch universal remote control impressed us with a simple, elegant design, an easy setup process, and enough power to automate nearly any home theater activity with the press of its 2.4-inch color touch screen.

Very expensive

After spending a good 4 days messing with it, the Ultimate finally does everything I want it to do. It's a bit finicky, but once you learn how to program it, it's not TOO bad. Here are some things I'd like to mention that I like or don't like about it:

It does finally control everything in my entertainments system...from the projector and screen; to the lights; game consoles; and AV equipment

A bit buggy at times; I eventually got everything working, but not without a lot of trial and error; Read my summary for more details

The Hub is the greatest addition to the Harmony family to date. While it's still not the remote we dream of, it's easily the best user-programmable option available.

Recently upgraded from a Harmony 1000 to the Harmony Ultimate. Everything has been improved. The speed at which things react now (button presses) is comparable to the original remotes for devices. Very intuitive remote.

This is the best universal remote that I have owned... and I have used quite a few from both Logitech/Harmony and other manufacturers (including the Home Theatre Master MX-500, Harmony One and Harmony 900) as well as product remotes with learning capabilities.

Finally a universal remote that operates all of our entertainment devices with simplicity. Would have given it 5 stars except like so many devices you buy these days the manufacturer gives minimal instructions, but by scrolling through after a few days we now have found everything we need to enjoy...

I find the buttons to fast forward, rewind, play etc are at the top of the remote and very small. I use my DVR all the time and therefore I find these buttons very awkward to use. They should be at the bottom of the remote and much larger.

The remote was obviously used with some minor scratching on the screen and it was dirty and needed to be cleaned.
