Logitch's G35 computer headset was a pretty good full featured 7.1 surround sound USB headset that was released last year. At E3 2010, I was treated to a viewing of their follow up called the G930 and what it had to offer over the G35.

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930
The statement "all day, every day" wouldn't be much of a stretch to describe how often I have been using the G930 headset since receiving them a few weeks ago. I listen to music every day as I do work at my desk and various tasks around the house.

Logitech G930 Wireless
All in all, I'm really happy with these headphones. From their looks to comfort and performance, they completely outshine the Logitech G35 (and it was no slouch). The wireless feature of the G930 is their major claim to fame; it works and it works well.
Pros:
- Volume control over individual channels allowing tweaking to sound stage
- Easy to use software
- Stylish good looks
- Very good sound
- Surround sound works very well
- Seamless transition from wireless to wired
- Crystal clear wireless reception
- Decent battery life
Cons:
- Volume control on headphones isn't hardware-based
- Less than optimal choices for G Key
- Battery is not easily replaceable
- Doesn't work in all older games
- Voice changer options are still gimmicky
- No travel case included

The Logitech G930 hits two important sweet-spots for enthusiasts: wireless connectivity and 7.1 surround sound. These are its key selling points. Naturally the 7.1 surround sound is software-driven, as each ear piece has one driver.

This is a excellent headset but it has one major flaw. When the battery is running out the software reports less than one hour left but that hour doesn't exist, it also takes a long time to charge it full especially if you are stuck with a USB hub.

Logitech G930
After the very promising G35, Logitech has upped the ante with a new star headset for gamers-and this time it's wireless! Design: why the cable tidy?
Pros:
- Wireless
- Very accurate sound reproduction
- Good spatial positioning
- Easy-access controls
- Cable tidy / charging station
Cons:
- Overall output lacks neutrality
- No volume level or mic on/off lights

Logitech G930 7.1 Surround Wireless Gaming Headset Review
Overall, I'm rather impressed with the Logitech G930 7.1 Surround Wireless Gaming Headset. The sound quality is actually surprisingly good. Although the bass response wasn't as good as some audiophile sets, I have yet to see a PC gaming headset that blew me away in this area. There is a little

Logitech G930 Review
The sound quality is better than any headset I have ever listened to, including wired headsets. The user will be totally immersed once the headset is put on. The plush ear cups block out almost all extraneous noise. The 7.1 is good, but not perfect. However, what can you expect from only 2 speakers?
