Logitech G930 Review - Style and Profiles

Wireless gaming headsets need two things, above all else: Excellent audio quality and consistent, lagless playback. The Logitech G930 ($100 on Amazon) has top-notch wireless features and gets most of the way there on the audio front.
Pros:
  • Great in-game surround sound
  • Robust software
  • Perfect wireless functionality
Cons:
  • No sound presets
  • Lackluster music performance
  • Earcups feel a bit tight

Excellent Product for the Price !

The Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 is a very nice headset with no wires that suffers from no noticeable lag and works for everything from gaming to watching movies. The G930 isn't cheap, but the good stuff rarely is.

Beautful Sound

I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of sound & battery life of this headset, playing upwards of 6 hours on one charge once.

Worth the Price

Sturdily built, great sound quality from the headphones, not to mention how clear the microphone is as well. It is comfortable to wear for a long time, and I look forward to using it every day.

"Just bad"

Note: I tried 2–3 of the product, same issues throughout. Pros: Decent Range. Sturdy. Multiple buttons Cons: Cuts out constantly. Battery seems small and lacking. The Cutting out makes online gaming and chatting more difficult. Conclusion: Just get the wired version.

Cord quality without the cord It's very close.

I am quite happy with the audio quality of the headphones on my PC the range is full and rich with full bass and hi fidelity the headphones sound great. On my PS4 however the volume is a bit too quiet. There are times when it simply needs more. Also the sound quality from the mic is a little tinny.

I have owned this headset for 3 month and will be returning it today. As others have said, connectivity issues. Once every 15-30 minutes the headphones turn off for about 5-10 seconds, then beeps and turns back on. Reinstalling drivers etc has no effect.

Mixed emotions ...then my 5 month follow-up!

So... the fix for the Sound cutting-out & the headset auto-powering down while you're gaming: this has worked for me, so I would advise doing this when you receive your headset:
Pros:
  • Incredible deal for the price
  • lasted 4 years
Cons:
  • This is actually my second set of G930's, my first set finally fell apart
  • With great care, you'll get about 2 years out of this product before the cheap pleather will start to peel off the ear cups...
