Almost a Contender
I`d love to give this headset a top rating. But the lacking build quality negates that. As well, I won`t be buying any headset extended warranty from now since apparently build quality is not covered in Memory Expresses extended warranties. I hope ME posts this review AS IS.
Pros:
- Great sound for movies and Games
- 7.1 is awesome
- And very comfortable for extended wear times
Cons:
- Build quality where the ear speaker pads are held onto the head strap is sorely lacking
- The plastic they use in this area is very brittle
- Both my sons and my G35 developed hairline cracks there
- Both sides
- Mine finally gave way tonight, leaving me with a dangling right ear speaker cup.

"Fair review its average"
Have had this headset for six months, its been good BUT!!..it started falling apart after 1 month and it been treated very well from desk to head,the sound is average the bass is terrible but treble is good.

A great headset. An almost perfect replacement for my G930's ...
A great headset. An almost perfect replacement for my G930's that had connection issues. I went with a wired solution so I can't knock a star off for that. One thing I do miss is something called sidetone. It's a volume control to allow for audio feedback of yourself.

Product Description Accuacy Sorely In Need . . .
Great head phones, with one complaint, the voice changing feature is evidently no longer available for this product. This was NEVER mentioned in the product description. I bought these phones SPECIFICALLY for the voice changing application for my grand children's amusement for Halloween.

One happy Boy
My son plays a war game on a team and he said that he can hear footsteps on the carpet of players within the game and it has improved his skill level due to kills. Very happy with on line ordering and how quick they arrived.

Cord twisting to hell and mic stopped working
Sounds great but after about 7 months the cord has been tangling its self on its own and totally ruining the input into the headset fraying the cords sheath from the sheer force if the cord twisting on its self.

Comfortable and Clear
Bought used to replace my broken g430 headset that I used for ~1 year and enjoyed quite a bit. I've had 3 g430 and broken each so I decided to change in hopes of better longevity. To my delight the g35's cable is think and braided and will probably not fail in the same way as my g430's.
Pros:
- -great audio quality
- clear highs, strong lows, -good build quality (better than g430, -good microphone quality, -comes with voice modulation
Cons:
- -Occasional 7.1 failure
- fixed by toggling switch, -build quality could be better

Perfect
Had this headset for a few years now, and there is no competition. Other gamers I know have had at least 3 pairs in the time I've had these, the sound quality is crisp and clear, the microphone picks up little to no background noise whilst picking up everything you say, extra customisable buttons...
