Great Headset
This is a great head set. Works fantastic in all gaming, music and VOIP uses. During gaming, sounds where made more acurrate as far as directionality and it also picked up sounds not availiable with many cheraper brand headsets gave me before.

Awesome headset!
The G35 was a great purchase and I love that it has full 7.1 surround! The functionality is perfect and The microphone is as good as you could ask! It is perfect for late night gaming so you don't wake everyone up with loud speakers.

Great buy
Sounds fantastic, Ventrillo sounds crisp, clear, and no lag in sound. Battlefield Bad company two sounds fantastic. Using the home theater option lets this headset really shine. You can hear people 20+ yards away in the snow, or the footsteps on the first floor when your on the third.

Great tool for regular use, games, mp3, Internet, etc.
I would like to give 5 stars for this product for regular use, the most demanding audiophiles should use some better sounding headphones with good sound cards.
Pros:
- Good (though not perfect at the audiophile level) sound quality
- very comfortable to wear
- no traces of wear during about 1 year of daily using
- convenient hot plug switching between Linux and Windows machines, works in VMs
- great for gaming
Cons:
- Sound quality could be better - Logitech needs to use 32 bit / 96 kHz DSP and perfect DACs / op amps in it to make it sound even better

NOT FOR MACS
My wonderful girlfriend got me a pair of these. I just wanted to point out the 7.1 surround sound does not work, is nowhere to be found in macs. Most of you did your 3rd party research, I just wanted to warn the next person. Sounds great actually, in the 5 minutes I played with it.

Some say it's bulky and heavy but I've not noticed it - the padding and shape is comfortable even during hours of use. The adjustable mic arm has a large movement range to suit everyone. Sound quality is the biggest selling point though.
