Great build quality, terrible software
The build quality is excellent on this headset, probably one of the best in this price range. Unfortunately the software is poorly written and cause major sound issues in some setups. It never worked on my computer but it works just fine on my roommates computer.

Perfect
Had this headset for a few years now, and there is no competition. Other gamers I know have had at least 3 pairs in the time I've had these, the sound quality is crisp and clear, the microphone picks up little to no background noise whilst picking up everything you say, extra customisable buttons...

G35
I was pleased with sound quality and voice, however the wire is quite dissappointing. It keeps tangling itself. So much that the protective ''coat'' broke out and now it's affecting sound quality and giving me static and fuzz. I often need to unplug and replug to get it working again.

Owned the G35 for just over a year now, it has good sound quality, good bass and a good mic is comfortable to wear, as well as being rather aesthetically pleasing. Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset
Surround sound is a tricky thing to get right, especially in headphones , where it's pretty much impossible. You need individual drivers for each channel, placed properly and wired so they can produce an experience similar to having speakers for each channel in a home theater.
Pros:
- Handy controls on the headset
- Flip-down microphone
Cons:
- Doesn't produce surround sound
- Middling bass

Good, but doesn't age well.
After about 3 years of daily use, the plasticity fake leather over the ear pieces starts to come off. It seems like the glue breaks down with heat. So be aware of that. Other than that, no problems at all. - Windows 7 Home edition. - Got it in 2011~ For the best model I expected five years at least.

Comfortable and Clear
Bought used to replace my broken g430 headset that I used for ~1 year and enjoyed quite a bit. I've had 3 g430 and broken each so I decided to change in hopes of better longevity. To my delight the g35's cable is think and braided and will probably not fail in the same way as my g430's.
Pros:
- -great audio quality
- clear highs, strong lows, -good build quality (better than g430, -good microphone quality, -comes with voice modulation
Cons:
- -Occasional 7.1 failure
- fixed by toggling switch, -build quality could be better

The Logitech G35 is a hard PC gaming headset to rate. It has many gaming-specific features such as voice morphing, but it neglects some of the basic and standard features that add a higher level of audio quality and convenience.
Pros:
- The "G keys" can be programmed to control some media players and perform other functions
Cons:
- This PC gaming headset only offers a USB connection
