Review: Logitech G330 Gaming Headset
All too often gaming products overestimate the needs of actual gamers. After all, not everyone is a professional gamer or even looking for a "professional level" product. Often people want something simple and affordable that enables them to do what they want without workarounds or decreased...

Logitech Gaming Headset G330 review
The G330 has a behind-the-head, adjustable headband that looks a little like a melted piece of plastic. On the left of the headset is a flexible microphone boom made of rubber. It can be rotated out of the way when not in use.

Logitech is a well-known manufacturer of gaming peripherals, and they know how to build quality products that can catch the interest of their gamer audience. In our experience, they are most well known for their high-end and more expensive products.
Pros:
- This PC gaming headset is very comfortable
Cons:
- The shorter range of frequencies results in some loss of audio quality

Shorted out right out of the box
This product is cheap feeling and I thought I would have something better for my money.Only one side works and I have to move the wires around to get both to work temporarily.

Pass
I've been through a lot of headsets, these were among the worst. They hurt my ears, the sound is sub par, and the audio went completely after 1 week. The only saving grace was the mic quality which was probably better than most.

Let Down
I have an old pair of Logitech under the ear headphones I have been using for gaming for years now, and they work incredibly better than these brand new ones. Everything on these new ones sounds muffled, the voice transmission to others, and the sound coming through the speakers.

Good While it last
I used to swear by Logitech but after having several expensive mice die and now this. I will never buy another product from them again. I will only buy from companies that stand by their products, not companies that know their products are going to die in a year or two.
Pros:
- Comfortable and nice easy to use
- It doesn't require any drivers just plug and play
Cons:
- Microphone started acting weird and stopped working after one year
- I received this item a a xmas gift from spouse in 2012
- She didn't purchase online so she doesn't have the receipt
- Contacted Logitech support and they said they need the receipt because the S/N said they were made in 2008.

- behind-the-head design
- adjustable noise-isolating boom mic
- included USB dongle adapter
Cons:
- Average sound quality
- boom mic may require some adjusting

Logitech G330
Priced at AU$99.95, we find it hard to recommend the Logitech G330 headset as a good buy. Though it includes a USB sound card, the actual performance of this headset leaves a lot to be desired. Comfort and the performance gained when using the USB sound card are its redeeming features.
Pros:
- Adjustable headband provides very good comfort
- In-line volume control
- 3.5mm connectors
Cons:
- Non-replaceable ear pads
- Pricey
- Mediocre performance when not connected via USB
