I bought this mount because it popped up with the "frequently bought together" option with the ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27" monitor... It unfortunately isn't very well suited from my experience... Please note however, that the product on it's own is a solid item and if it wasn't for the incompatibility with my specific monitor, this would be perfectly fine. The monitor is lighter than the minimum specs of this mount so you CANNOT adjust the height, it just pops right back up to the default height. This arm does what you expect it to. You can move your monitor in any direction and rotation you want. However, I've seen some reviews saying that for their monitor weight ( mine is 6kg ), that it just wants to rise all the time. Well this is simply not reading the instructions or taking the time to look at the arm itself. You can adjust the gas sprung part of the arm using an Allen Key at the base of the gas strut, located on the middle joint of the arm. Seems to work well - was a little TOO robust for a smaller monitor, had to weigh it down slightly to stop it rising to the top even at minimum weight adjustment. For a bigger screen though it is perfection. Love the extra ports.

Purchased this with a 34inch ultrawide monitor. great addition to the work space but I had to purchase longer cables to get the full range of motion. great product, I highly recommend it

I bought this for my 38" Ultra wide it makes positioning it a dream plus save on loads of desk space!! well worth it!
