We've got new hardware in the form of the PlayStation Vita, and as such, it seems only fitting for the platform to have it's own mini-game compliation to break in all the new feaatures that come with new hardware.

Not all of the games are so fantastic – six-axis games in particular.

I was prepared to dislike Little Deviants when tasked to review it.  Packed in as part of the bundle for those that pre-ordered the Vita Early Edition, this game has seen its share of criticism and has been likened to nothing more than a tech demo for the Vita hardware.  But you know what?

While Little Deviants is clearly designed – above all else – to showcase the PS Vita's clever touch controls, this madcap minigame compilation is still is a fun diversion for anyone who fancies an absurd alternative to WipEout 2048's sickening twists and turns.

" Little Deviants " is not brilliant. About 3-4 hours in the mini-games start to repeat, and a lot of the fun goes away. It doesn't help that there's no multiplayer (apart from pass-around) either.

This is one of the few reviews where I will put more time into writing the review than actually playing the game.  I didn't get the Vita bundle that included Little Deviants.  I thought I was being thrifty by getting it on ebay "used once" for $15 + $2 shipping.

We've said for a long time that Sony and BigBig Studios' Little Deviants is an ideal pack-in game for PlayStation Vita, primarily because it does a good job showcasing the machine's abilities; on top of that, everyone loves a free game with their purchase. As a separate retail release?

Little Deviants is an excellent way to experiment with the PlayStation Vita's numerous new features, including the front and rear touchpads, camera, motion sensor and augmented reality capabilities.

Little deviants is very much a set of games within a game. There is no real story line and instead is alot of very well designed mini games. The comic and "bouncy" style of the game adds to the enjoyability of the game and most importantly it is very easy to pick up and play anywhere.
