Horrible

Bought this because every time i tried to stream movies to my smart tv, it got disconnected every 15 minutes. I had the original shaw router. It downloaded very fast, up to 1mb/s. It just apparently wasn't strong enough to stream to that tv. I upgraded (apparently) to this.

Linksys EA6900

A quick, flexible and supremely easy-to-use router, and the price is very reasonable

Now that 802.11ac is making its way into more phones, tablets and laptops, choosing an AC router such as Linksys' EA6900, is becoming an increasingly tempting option. And if you're going to opt for 802.11ac, you might as well go for broke and choose a top-end model.

Needs rebooting every other day

Linksys has really gone bad with quality control. They must not do any testing on any products before releasing to the public,if they did they would have seen this issue happen and fixed it.

It was a gift so I didn't have to pay for it

Worked great for all of a fewer months now every other day the routers needs rebooting in order to pass traffic; I have 2 of these and I'm very disappointed; I personally never buy Linksys products for this reason alone, lack of quality!!!

Linksys EA6900 review

The Linksys EA6900 is an AC1900 wireless router, which means it should be one of the fastest routers available. It has a theoretical maximum throughput of 1300Mbit/s when using 5GHz 802.11ac and its wireless chipset also supports the Turbo QAM standard, which can theoretically bring 2.4GHz 802.11n...

Linksys EA6900 WiFi Smart Router AC1900 Review

Today on our test bench we will be taking a look at the new top of the range Wi-Fi router from Linksys (now part of the Belkin group) the EA6900. Boasting a range of high end features and supporting the latest 801.11AC standard this product looks to set itself apart from the competition.

Linksys EA6900 review

The Linksys EA6900 bears more than a passing resemblance to the EA6500 that we reviewed in December 2012. It's styled in the same dark grey and silver case, has the same flat, horizontally oriented design and the same curved section that juts out in the centre.

Wireless technology never stands still so although it wasn't until roughly just over a year ago when manufacturers released their very first AC1750 compatible routers now we already see AC1900 compatible ones offering even higher combined speeds.
