Now that 802.11ac is making its way into more phones, tablets and laptops, choosing an AC router such as Linksys' EA6900, is becoming an increasingly tempting option. And if you're going to opt for 802.11ac, you might as well go for broke and choose a top-end model.

Bought this because every time i tried to stream movies to my smart tv, it got disconnected every 15 minutes. I had the original shaw router. It downloaded very fast, up to 1mb/s. It just apparently wasn't strong enough to stream to that tv. I upgraded (apparently) to this.

do NOT buy this product. Do NOT buy ANY Cisco, Linksys, Belkin, product right now. for some reason the high quality that we had come to expect from Cisco, has recently declined. their support for their products has also declined, while the cost seems to be increasing.

Excellent router for the family. You can contoll hours of use and content by device. Good signal and streaming video works with little or no refresh...

Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we expected more from the ASUS RT-AC68U and Linksys EA6900. The test results are good, there's no question about that, but they're note exceptional.
