It has been quite some time since I have been able to have a play around with some of Linksys' networking hardware and boy it feels good to be back under the wings of one of their latest routers.

Nice Router

I'm very disappointed with the performance of this router. Other internet reviews seemed to suggest this was one of the most powerful routers on the market. I am not using the 'ac' wireless standard as yet as I am future-proofing my network.

I bought a Motorola gateway and that was a pain from day one. Both of them. Come to find out it isn't the ISP, moto junk was to blame. The AC1900 rocks. Very easy to track devices/manage speeds.

Now I can stream video to my tv from my phone upstairs. I have good internet connection thru out the house.

I had an old Linksys router that was obsolete and was looking for a replacement. Linksys has always worked well. I've had this set up and working for several weeks and it is working as expected with good coverage throughout the house. Setup was very easy.
