Cisco Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router
When Cisco released the Valet Plus ($90, 4.5 stars), it had raised the bar for wireless router setup. Other vendors, I predicted, were sure to follow suit. Since then, most of the newer routers on the market feature the same sort of easy setup, making routers simpler than ever for the average home...

ez setup for Geezer
Bought to hook up my Roku in downstairs back bedroom wirelessly. You just set this puppy up, add security easily, and forget about it. Pick a password that is easy to spell when you have your grandkids over with their ipods and Kindles.
Pros:
- Works Great as advertised
Cons:
- no pretty blinking lights when nothing is on TV

Cisco's Linksys E1200 is the venerable Linksys WRT160N (version 3) rebranded, with the Cisco Connect software now included to simplify installation. Of all of the wireless routers for the budget conscious, this one is our TopTenREVIEWS Gold Award winner on our product review lineup because it is...
Pros:
- This router includes parental controls and password-protected guest networking
Cons:
- This Linksys router does not include a USB port and telephone support is fee-based

I ordered this router available on naaptol, and it works perfectly - it is easy to setup (no troubles at all whatsoever), no blinking lights on the front of the router, very lightweighted and compact.

Cisco Linksys E1200 Wireless N Router - Upgraded My Home Wireless Performance
I have been using a Netgear Wireless G router for several years. My Netgear router has been sufficient over the years, although it is not the most user friendly router. I recently changed some of the router settings, which created problems throughout my home wireless network.
Pros:
- Easy setup
- 300 Mbps speed
- inexpensive
- solved my home network issues

Poor Compatibility
This router was very slow with the cable modem and did not support my new Lenovo laptop. I spent an hour with the company site and they could not solve the problem.
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up
Cons:
- Slow
- Unreliable

Loved the Easy Set-up.
It is preforming as well as my old Linksys router. Cannot tell that the N reaches further. Just hope it lasts as many years and moves as my old Linksys. So much easier to set up than the old one. Everything was spelled out well. I have never used service or support.

Connects Easely
I had a Linksys router before, I had the 54 with dual antenna it had a maximum speed of 50 bps the E-1200 had a speed of 65 bps. It has to be about the easiest to install, it is software installed, the hardest thing you have to do is to think up the password or leave the default one.

Great router
This review is for this product HARDWIRED: wireless is disabled. I went wired for (1): better performance; up to twice as fast download speed and (2): security- nobody can "see" my network. Also less radiation in my home, but maybe that's just me.
