This printer is one of the most reliable laser printers out there. Lexmark is known for building enterprise type devices that will withstand the most rugged environments. It is super fast, handles heavy paper types, and the image quality is amazing.

I took a serious look at Lexmark printers because I've been unhappy with my recent HP Laserjet purchase. (The HP drivers are awful. The print spool gets jammed up and I have to manually clear it. But that could be bacausse HP never updates drivers). Anyway, the Lexmark works perfectly so far.
Easy Set-up; Fast; Quiet; Sharp Detail
Once it's up and running it seems to be a good printer. Print quality is great and speed is adequate for a small medical office. Annoyed with set-up because user manual states this model has wireless capability if you buy a specific adapter (which I bought) but when I got it in the mail and tried to...

I print on plain paper and also print checks throughout the day. This printer can only be set to pull from the Manual Feed tray OR from Tray 1. I currently have the printer setup to print from the Manual tray, but it will not print from tray 1 unless I send at least one piece of paper through the...

satisfaite
I always worry when a new line replaces a known, good, old line of printers. HP has been going downhill for a decade. I'm relieved Lexmark is not cheapening their product line, and in this case "new" means "GOOD."
This seems to be the Lexmark replacement for the 260/360/460 series of printers; I bought an MS610dn as an upgrade to the very good E462dtn last fall and it has been a horse; The MS310d is best suited for a single user with heavy printing needs - specifically our accounting department people - and...
Not a con as much as a feature not paid for - the network interface available on some models; I don't use peer-to-peer print sharing, it's not worth the costly management overhead, so this is a standalone printer for my network
Installed easily with no problems at all, quick start up from standby as well. Excellent value. Built in duplex is a bonus.
