Lexmark E260dn

3.5
Verdict: The Lexmark E260dn ($249 direct) will never win awards for its output quality (although the quality is good enough for most business needs), but when you home in on the two features that count most in a workhorse monochrome laser-speed and paper handling-it outshines its competition.
Pros: Fast. Built-in duplexer for printing on both sides of the page. Standard 250-sheet capacity with 800-sheet maximum
Cons: Although text is good enough for most business use, it's subpar for a laser

A Lexmark Desktop Laser : Lexmark Laser E260dn

3.8
Verdict: Lexmark has listed this product at a price of £217.35 but a quick search of the Web produced a number of companies offering this unit for less including one at £111.54.  A standard replacement toner cartridge is priced at £120.06, however Lexmark runs a scheme whereby you return the old cartridge

REVIEW: Lexmark E260dn

No reviews
Verdict: Earlier in the year Lexmark introduced a new line of monochrome laser printers designed to help small and medium-size businesses lower costs while saving paper and energy. The new Lexmark E Series monochrome laser printers are designed with eco-conscious features such as built-in two-sided printing...

Lexmark E260DN

5.0
Verdict: Lexmark's inkjet printers have failed to impress in recent PC Pro Labs, but its lasers are a different proposition. In our last laser printer group test the E250dn wowed us with its low cost, speed and impressive specification, and although the price has gone up, the follow-up - the E260dn - is just...

Lexmark E260dn review

4.0
Verdict: When reviewing inkjet printers, we'll often call the output 'laser-sharp'; that's because laser technology still gives phenomenal results, especially for text, and especially on standard 80gsm (grams per square metre) paper.

Lexmark E260dn review

Lexmark E260DN Mono Laser

4.0
Verdict: Lexmark makes a big range of mono and colour laser printers, from personal up to departmental level machines. A mono laser, the E260DN is suitable as a high-end personal laser, or for SOHO or small workgroup use.

Lexmark E260DN networked mono laser printer

3.5
Verdict: Unless the vast majority of your documents need colour, you'd do well to look at a mono laser as your main printer. Lexmark has a wide range and maintains its reputation - a hangover from its days as IBM's printer division - for producing good, reliable office-oriented printers.

Why does a mono printer have colour controls

5.0
Verdict: I don't actually own this printer so please ignore the rating. I'm looking to _buy_ a printer and am simply bemused by the "Pantone color correction" option in the description for a black and white printer.

Good value

5.0
Verdict: This replaced an outdated HP that cost, when it was new, about 8 times what this did. It's much faster, takes no time to warm up and has double the resolution. It is noisier when it prints, but dead quiet when it's idle. For the time it saves and it's ease of setup, it's a really good value.
Pros: print quality, design, size & weight, Easy Installation/Good Instructions, compatibility, build quality, speed, value for money, easy to use
Cons: noisy

Lexmark E260DN

2.0
Verdict: I feed thicker semi-gloss specialty papers as well as labels via manual feeder and it works just fine for me. I only gave it 4 because of the starter cartridge, otherwise it does the job. Print quality is better than twice its price range and the reliability is there. A good buy nonetheless.
Pros: Fast for its size and very small footprint. Optional 550 sheet drawer is a nice touch. Rather inexpensive replacement cartridge. Duplex printing
Cons: Starter toner has very low yield, it gave up on me around 400 pages and I didn't print anything fancy. It should have lasted at least for 1000

Great value for a great quality printer!

5.0
Verdict: I was surprised at how well this printer performed. I bought this printer, because I was tired of going through color toner, when I printer mostly black. I have always used HP printers and this Lexmark is just as good, if not better.

Ordered new, but came used, covered in ink, worn away logo. Not sure what happened

3.0
Verdict: The printer came almost entirely covered in ink and had clearly been used before. Also, the Lexmark logo on the front of it was worn almost entirely away. The box it came in seemed fine when it arrived, so it didn't seem to be the delivery problem.
