The Lenovo Y Gaming Precision Mouse ($52.49) is one of the less expensive gaming mice out there, but there aren't many other reasons to buy it. The responsive sensor and array of programmable buttons are nice, but an uncomfortable, too-big design, flimsy-feeling plastic, and simple feature set are too significant to overlook. The Razer DeathAdder Chroma ($55.00 at Amazon) , an Editors' Choice that costs just $20 more, is superior all around, while the Roccat Kova and the Corsair Sabre RGB Gaming Mouse are solid options for $50. Design and Features With a black and red palette, the all-plastic Y Gaming Precision Mouse ($34.93 at Amazon) is made to match Lenovo's Y series laptops, which bear the same color scheme, for a unified line of gaming products. Red is reserved for the bottom trim and the glowing Y-shaped light strip next to the scroll wheel. The plastic feels somewhat cheap, making the mouse seem thin and hollow. It's a bit larger than most mice, measuring 1.6 by 3.32 by 5....
The Lenovo Y Gaming Precision Mouse includes some useful features for a modest price, but the poor physical design overshadows the positives. Better choices abound, even in this low price range.
