Very good overall, but it buzzes
- It's a DisplayLink device, so you can run it on both Windows and Mac, and the drivers/firmware are updated frequently and made available at displaylink.com
- Performance on Windows 7 was surprisingly good
- I was able to play a 1080p video in VLC full-screen with no lagging/frame dropping.
- Performance on Mac is not as good as on Windows
- on the Mac, it is fine for office productivity/web browsing/text, but video is fairly laggy to the point of being unpleasant to watch. Included plastic stand does the job, but feels flimsy for a $200 product.

Awesome
This thing is awesome. I bought it to use with my surface pro. Picture is bright and clear. I use a regular mini USB rather than the y cable it came with and works fine. Built in kick stand and LCD cover is a nice touch.
