You may not get the same monitor as advertised.
I guess refurbished now means that you get to pick out of some mystery grab bag.
Pros:
- It works
- Got this monitor as a gift
Cons:
- I did not receive the same monitor that is advertised
- The monitor I was shipped was an L192 model that only has a VGA and no DVI connection
- Not enough of a big deal for me to go through the hassle of sending it back, but pretty annoying nonetheless

Some dead pixels but overall nice
This monitor is sturdy, has anti-glare matte screen, is fast, and looks good on my desk. Only complaint is the dead pixels in some areas of the screen. I guess that what you get for paying 70 bucks.

Good for the price
This is a good monitor for the money and given at the time there was a $50 rebate as well - couldn't be beat. The on-screen control buttons are MUCH more intuitive than a more expensive NEC that we have.
Pros:
- price

Lenovo ThinkVision L197 Wide
The Lenovo ThinkVision L197 Wide ($239.99 list) is a no-frills 19-inch LCD monitor geared toward conservation-minded users who require a widescreen to run basic business applications. Color and light grayscale performance are quite good on this model, but features are scarce.
Pros:
- Good color and light grayscale performance
- Low power usage
Cons:
- No USB ports
- Limited adjustability
- Weak vertical viewing angle
