Depending on who you ask -- a ThinkPad diehard or a notebook agnostic -- the X230 either has little wrong with it, or it has one inexcusable flaw. Starting with the good, it's fast, thanks to its spanking-new Ivy Bridge processor.

High-performance tablet
I'm using the X230 to replace the older X220. This is an amazing computer with top-notch performance. Highly recommended.

Awesome Machine!!!
I honestly think there is nothing better for durability (all the stories about thinkpads surviving water, fire, acid, drops, etc.) or functionality!! 18 hours of battery life is only with the slice battery though... in reality it's about 8 hours, but still... that should last... essentially all day.
