Lenovo ThinkPad X220
Lenovo's X-series laptops have always been high-end ultraportable machines for business travelers who need to work on the go with a minimum amount of compromise. The X220 continues this tradition and adds a few new twists at the same time.
Pros:
- Classic ThinkPad design in a compact package
- amazing battery life
- and the latest Intel processors make the Lenovo ThinkPad X220 a standout travel laptop
Cons:
- The touch-pad-pointing-stick combo remains an awkward compromise
- and as with most ThinkPads you're paying a hefty premium for the sturdy case and business-friendly software

Lenovo ThinkPad X220
The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 packs in a new Intel Core i5 CPU and can run all day (depending on how you use it). With a 12.5-inch display, it's just a bit smaller than a 13-inch laptop, and it feels like an excellent compromise for frequent travelers.
Pros:

Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet (X220T)
Is Lenovo's ThinkPad X220T the perfect tablet laptop? Not really, but it's as close as it gets. Sure, it's not cheap, its industrial aesthetic won't appeal to everyone, it lacks USB 3.0 and eSATA, and we would have liked a few more vertical pixels on the screen.
Pros:
- Amazing IPS screen
- Superb ergonomics
- All-day battery life
- Excellent build quality
- Sandy Bridge internals
Cons:
- No USB 3.0
- Expensive

Ultralights aren't for everyone, but with the ThinkPad X220, Lenovo sure is doing its best to make the case that they can be. This latest version of its super-slim executive standby is ThinkPad doing everything it does best .
Pros:
- Insane battery life flirts with five long hours. 
- Blazing performance outdoes your kid's gaming laptop. 
- Super-lightweight, but solidly built

- Half-baked touchpad design
- Please, Lenovo, please swap the Fn and Ctrl keys once and for all

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet ($1,579 direct) strikes a nice concession between ultraportable business laptop and multitouch Windows 7 tablet. Some businesses may be hard pressed to give up its QWERTY ways for a full tablet or compromise losing time learning a new operating system.

- Largest hard drive in its class
- Rugged, ergonomic design
- Superb physical keyboard and pointing controls

Specs and hardware all there, quality lacking.
I love the X series by lenovo, great product that over-delivers. I also am a huge fan of Newegg, unfortunately I believe the third party they used for this refurb did not take the time that I feel is necessary to properly refurbish this. If I could give the entire experience a rating 2.5/5.
Pros:
- For the price * Fast *Powerful *Inexpensive *Runs cool (temperature) *Light *Extremely portable
Cons:
- *Case is in poor condition, easy to replace parts that you would expect in a refurbish, were not replaced
- *Express card slot non operational
- *Battery is weak, should have been replaced as part of a refurb.
