Resonable value for this laptop if no more dramas
It's always been my dream laptop so I bought it this time since the price is so sweet. Performance of this machine is quite reasonable, however there's one time this laptop's screen flashed and blacked out constantly for 15 minutes until I gave up and turned it off.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2014 review – unprofessionally redefined
On a first look, Lenovo's ThinkPax X1 Carbon 2014 looks like a great machine. Sleek, solid, powerful and packed with the latest features, it sound like a great pick for business environments.- sleek and sturdy built
- slim and light for a 14 incher
- solid performer
- alright battery life
- runs cool and mostly quiet
- 4G/LTE modem included
- poor usability changes involving the keyboard and trackpad
- lacks an SD card-reader
- poor webcam
- puny speakers
- the WQHD screen is somewhat muddy
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Review
The ThinkPad X1 sells in India for a price of Rs 1,02,000, which might seem like a lot to a regular laptop customer. Add the fact that it's very light and easy to carry around while still delivering a decent amount of performance and battery life.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Review
For Lenovo, the fourth time's the charm. The 4th-generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon gets the business ultrabook formula right with a keyboard, screen and battery life that live up to their promise, wrapped up in a durable, 2.6-pound package.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga review
As far as laptop ranges go, there's very little introduction needed for the ThinkPad family. First produced by IBM more than twenty years ago, Lenovo acquired the entire range a decade later.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1: Review
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is clearly a product for a consumer business, so a strong focus on quality, neglecting the design slightly. The strengths are a body strong and resistant to falls, an ergonomic keyboard and spill-resistant, the fingerprint reader to protect your data from prying eyes, HDMI,...- RAM, USB 3.0 port, memory card reader, fingerprint reader, spill-resistant keyboard
- Chassis resistant to falls, Bluetooth and optional WiMax
- Internal memory
- not eye-catching Design
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch review
Lenovo got a lot of things right with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and all the advantages carry over to the Carbon Touch: it's light, gorgeous, functional, and powerful enough for every realistic ultrabook task.- Touchscreen works well
- Gorgeous
- sleek design
- Solid performance
- Great keyboard
- Gets really hot
- Expensive
- Too much bloatware
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 review: A 13in semi-rugged ultraportable with a full-voltage Core i5 CPU
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is one of the best 13.3in ultraportable laptop on the market. It's a no-compromise solution that features a full-voltage Intel Core i5 CPU, integrated mobile broadband, plenty of fast connectivity options, and it's very comfortable to use.- Semi-rugged design
- Full-voltage Intel Core i5 CPU
- Solid state drive
- Touchpad could be better
- Had problems recognising SIM cards
- Could use more premium features
Although the ThinkPad line of notebooks from Lenovo is synonymous with business laptops, there hasn't been a 13-inch ThinkPad since the old X301. The all new ThinkPad X1 promises to deliver all the features and dependability you expect from a ThinkPad inside a thin and lightweight 13-inch laptop.
- Thin design with lots of ports
- Excellent performance
- Bright screen with Gorilla Glass
- Integrated battery
- Glossy screen
- Annoying touchpad issue
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Review
The recommended retail price of the X1 is R15,000 – likely to raise a few eyebrows for a device with no optical drive, very limited hardware customisability and a touchpad from hell.
