Good Choice
I use mine mainly when working with Excel and so I can have 30 tabs open at once. I had a thinkpad before this one another x series. I love the nub! Some Lenovo models exclude that. The touchscreen is responsive and fast. I needed some Youtube help to get started but now it's all easy.- Comfortable Keyboard

Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch: A lightweight contender
The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Touch is the rare notebook that does just about everything well, from performance and battery life to its touch abilities and superb display. Its $1,399 price tag is relatively high, but if you want the best, it is worth every penny.- Thin and light

When Lenovo announced the original X1 Carbon laptop, I could hardly wait to get my hands on one. When it finally arrived, it was almost a home run but had a few areas where it lacked premium components (display, battery life). Well all of those have been made near perfect in this model (2014)....

But despite being lightweight and ultra powerful, the first Thinkpad X1 Carbon's enterprise appeal was hampered by a few issues, primarily its lack of an Ethernet port and slightly poor non-removable battery.
Resonable value for this laptop if no more dramas
It's always been my dream laptop so I bought it this time since the price is so sweet. Performance of this machine is quite reasonable, however there's one time this laptop's screen flashed and blacked out constantly for 15 minutes until I gave up and turned it off.
