Very nice tablet.
Very nice tablet.
I just got my T560 and while overall it is a great machine, Lenovo dropped the ball badly with the keyboard. No, not the number pad, the absence of back lighted keys. This is an expensive, business laptop that I spent over $1600 on and the keyboard is NOT back lighted.
What a great value and great machine! I use this for a lot of google apps and small business work and I love the 10 key, back lit keyboard, screen size and resolution, speed and it's extremely lightweight!
Lenovo's new ThinkPad T560 convinces with a wide viewing angle IPS display and promises more performance and longer battery runtimes thanks to the Skylake platform. However, the other changes of the 15-inch device are very subtle – is it still enough for the victory in its class?
robust; functional chassis design; precise display hinges; excellent keyboard; fast WLAN; optional LTE; IPS display with wide viewing angles; good application performance; low noise and temperature development; numerous security features; impressive battery runtimes; 3 years warranty
no maintenance hatch; no USB 3.1 or Type-C; pretty low luminance; high price
If you're looking for a mainstream business laptop with a 15-inch screen, the Lenovo ThinkPad T560 should be at the top of your list. Lenovo's laptop is a joy to use because of its sharp, colorful display; comfy keyboard; and pair of accurate pointing devices.
Although Lenovo offers quite a few different models of this laptop, the best overall option is the one that includes a 256GB solid state drive. With that you also get an Intel i7 processor and 8GB of DDR3 memory that keeps your programs running fast.
First things first - This one does not come with Microsoft Office pre-installed (as it is claimed on the product page). Although I had expected that somehow, it was little bit of a motivating factor behind choosing this laptop. Amazon should correct it as soon as they can.
