The Legend of Spyro series has few connections to the original line of games and is a re-imagining that is focussed on fighting as opposed to jumping, and brings in a host of celebrities to voice the cast of characters.

I think this is a good game. this is my first Spyro game.
Well, i enjoyed this game. The plot is set about 3ish years from where the last one in the trilogy left off. However, i was able to enjoy this one without playing the other 2! Couple of bits, however, wern't particually easy to navigate. No brilliant explanations of what you had to do.
Fun for family
Graphics; Camera angles; knowing what to do
I'm at 6 hours of play with 55% complete.
2-player Co-op with Spyro and Cynder; 8 total elements, 16 elemental attacks(2 attacks per element, 4 elements per dragon
not long enough, a basic run through is at least 8 hours for the first play; a good few more hours if you try to collect all the level bonuses
Fans of the old Spyro games might be a bit disappointed by this game, as it has not the flair the older games on the good old PSone! Loved those games and played it often, started this game only once, but could not get really into it. But that's only my subjective oppinion.
I'm a big spyro fan loved the ps1 games & the ps2 hero's tail game then what a disappointment new begining & eternal flame was so i 'm glad to say that this spyro game it a lot better & you can play 2 player co-op one of you is spyro & the other is cynder which is excellent.
Dating back to the PlayStation One days, Spyro the purple dragon has been with us for quite some time. Not being familiar with the series I was very curious to see what the action and adventure based game was all about.
The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon-A dawn of decent games for the franchise? Spyro has had some tough times since the dawn of the Playstation 2. Both Spyro and Crash Bandicoot were the mascots of Sony's Playstation system, yet when both franchises were taken under the development of Vivendi...
Once again it's that time when we critics swarm down onto the latest release of a dying series, and tear what little life there once was from the rotting corpse of the franchise; we are the vultures and you are our family waiting to be fed.
Almost 10 years ago to the day, Spyro the 100% clean and sober dragon landed on the original Sony Playstation. Incidentally I used to hang with an albino hobo named Francis when I was busking in Amsterdam 10 years ago, and if I remember correctly he once told me that he saw dragons.
