is the final game in the trilogy which began in 2006 on the PS2 and Xbox with Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. The first thing I noticed about is that the game is absolutely beautiful.

Almost 10 years ago to the day, Spyro the 100% clean and sober dragon landed on the original Sony Playstation. Incidentally I used to hang with an albino hobo named Francis when I was busking in Amsterdam 10 years ago, and if I remember correctly he once told me that he saw dragons.
At first I played the game just because my partner had bought it from the Daily Deals, being a fan of Spyro from PS1 and PS2 I really didn't wanna play this version as I loved the old one so much. Well, you know what? I love this game!
I would have to say when I first started playing this game when it came out i was impressed, the game-play and story line are amazing among other little details. What really brought the Spyro fan out of me is being able to FINALLY fly without any boosts or abilities, just flying!
Pretty damn good, the game is worth playing, but not the best Graphics=10, VERY VERY GOOD Music=7, Pretty good, but you hear it over and over Story=7, Lord of the Rings much Replayability/Length=7, Worth replaying but only a couple times Gameplay=9, Very good, glitchy at times but very good This...
Not a great game and way overpriced. It's not even close to the original spyro games... too complicated for a little kid, unlike the original ps versions.
I'm at 6 hours of play with 55% complete.
2-player Co-op with Spyro and Cynder; 8 total elements, 16 elemental attacks(2 attacks per element, 4 elements per dragon
not long enough, a basic run through is at least 8 hours for the first play; a good few more hours if you try to collect all the level bonuses
Fans of the old Spyro games might be a bit disappointed by this game, as it has not the flair the older games on the good old PSone! Loved those games and played it often, started this game only once, but could not get really into it. But that's only my subjective oppinion.
I was corresponding with another writer here at Gaming Nexus -- Sean Nack -- when the topic and usage of the word "frustration" in videogame reviews came up. As I'm wont to do when I know little of what I'm talking about, I turned the discussion into something of a monologue.
The worlds have a vibrancy that recalls the original PlayStation games, special effects are suitably dazzling and the whole affair is efficiently produced whilst making the most of the host hardware.
