LG Optimus Vu Slips into South Korean Market
Overall opinion: If the battery carries decent use and standby life, and the Optimus Vu has respectable RAM and connectivity, none of which we know fully right now, it's doubtful that it will be priced as high as the Note but could easily slip into the same potential user's hands.

LG Intuition – the Optimus Vu is finally coming to the US, courtesy of Verizon
The LG Intuition is coming this fall to Verizon, and the price will be $200 with a contract, which is on par with the Galaxy Note and other high end smartphones. If you need a device for note taking and high speed Internet usage and have a large enough sleeve or pockets, the LG Intuition is...

If the Galaxy Note is anything to go by, Sales of super-sized phones are not going to slow down any time soon. Not wanting to miss out on the trend, LG recently launched the Optimus Vu. Its take on the phablet form-factor includes a 5″ screen in a fairly uncommon 4:3 aspect ratio.

The LG Optimus Vu, both from hardware and software perspective, is a fully ornamented phone. It has some nifty features as well that makes it standout against competitors. But its size is what matters. Either you like the 4:3 aspect ratio or not.
Pros:
- Great for taking notes
- ebook reading
- Web browsing
- Quite fast
- User interface
- Note taking app
- Capacitive touch buttons below display can't be operated through stylus
Cons:
- No place to keep Stylus
- Camera auto focus below par
- One hand operation bit difficult during calls
- Dull looking back panel

LG Optimus Vu Review
The Optimus Vu has its fair share of shortcomings, the 4:3 aspect ratio is among them. Also, the stylus was supposed to make the device unique and special - but it didn't really turn out that way (we're really hoping it will add value when you need to use it for sketching/drawing).

Can this device break through the fast expanding Phablet segment? If LG's latest phablet was rubbing shoulders with a few other mobile gadgets at a retail counter, there's a good chance that it would be the first device your hands will reach for.

LG Optimus Vu Review
Some say, the LG Optimus Vu was conceived to rival the Samsung Galaxy Note II. However, that is exactly what it is not. Well, you may say that both are big-screen phones, with the rather fancily named styluses, but both seem to offer different things. The Optimus Vu is even bigger than the Note II.
