Good value for the money, but if you could spend a little more then get S3

Good price for a phone that has future generation components like quad core processor and 1280 X 720 resolution big 4.7 inch screen. Lacks a quality speaker and microphone, I had used a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II ($ 180 value) and the speaker and microphone quality was better. Camera so-so.

Good buy... great specs, brilliant price

Recently bought this phone, and I don't regret my decision at all! Brilliant user experience, with an extremely good response. The Optimus 3.0 UI is also a neat looking interface, and I personally like it more than the Touchwiz UI and HTC's Sense.

  • Sharp
  • bright
  • large screen
  • Expandable storage
  • Removable battery
  • Charming UI
Cons:
  • Uncohesive design
  • Late release

LG Optimus 4X HD review

LG's recent efforts in the US phone market have been somewhat... underwhelming. The company's been a stalwart supporter of 720p displays, which is great, but some combination of poor software, underpowered internals, and bad build quality have consistently brought LG's phones crashing back to earth.
Pros:
  • Solid build quality
  • Some real improvements to Android 4.0
  • Stellar performance
Cons:
  • Mediocre battery life
  • Huge
  • Speaker is insanely quiet

LG Optimus 4X HD Review

The LG Optimus 4X HD can brag to be the first phone announced with a quad-core chipset, although the HTC One X beat it as first to market. LG has loaded the full monty with it - a quad-core processor, large "True HD" display fit in a fairly compact for it body, and the latest Android version out of...
Pros:
  • Most compact of the Android flagships
  • Carrying regular SIM and microSD slots
  • plus a removable battery
  • Handy new features like Quick Memo (note taking)
  • Media Plex (video playback) and Time Machine (frame precapture
Cons:
  • Fiddly camera focus
  • Automatic brightness adjustment only works from a preset baseline

LG Optimus 4X HD Review

LG first unveiled the Optimus 4X HD back at Mobile World Congress in February. It's been a long time coming, but the Optimus 4X HD is now available in much of the world - even if it's only available outside of a plan (unlocked) here in the U.S.
Pros:
  • Super fast
  • nice display
  • good user experience
  • usable NFC capabilities
  • strong battery life
Cons:
  • Not the cutest phone in the block
  • A couple of small bugs, the camera needs more work

The Optimus 4X HD is LG's first quad-core Android-powered smartphone. It features a massive 4.7-inch 720p resolution IPS display, an 8 megapixel camera, NFC support, and some very nice tweaks to the Ice Cream Sandwich user experience. Michael shows us how it all works in this full review.
Pros:
  • Super fast
  • nice display
  • good user experience
  • usable NFC capabilities
  • strong battery life
Cons:
  • Just this side of ugly
  • a couple of small bugs
  • the camera needs more work

LG Optimus 4X HD quad-core Android phone review

LG's new 4X HD is not only the cheapest quad-core über-phone around, it's also the smallest and lightest, if only by the slimmest of margins. It may not shout "Look at me" like the opposition from HTC or Samsung but it's a smart and solid bit of kit that goes like stink.
